There are no words fitting for much I enjoy my boy Nick Hakim’s music. “A whole lot” seems a bit dry. “He’s the best singer in the history of the Western World” might upset folks (in addition to the fact that Mr. Redding would never forgive me for quitting Team Otis so late in the game). So I’ll just say that this song, really all of his songs, are shards of infinite jubilation.

Nick Hakim’s voice is where dreams go to buy gifts for their children.
